Marketing Intern - US Pet Health (Summer 2027)

About the role

As a Summer 2027 US Pet Health Marketing Intern, you will be embedded within our US Pet Health marketing team with a comprehensive 360-degree view of modern animal health marketing. This role offers broad exposure for professional development with specialized placement in brand management, digital strategy, or retail execution that aligns with your specific interests and background.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across teams to grow your business understanding and gain critical insights necessary for developing high-impact strategic plans.
• Leadership Engagement: Manage regular check-ins with management to prepare and present your project findings, gaining direct experience in leadership interaction.
• Innovation: Within your assigned area of focus, identify breakthrough marketing ideas.
• Project Execution: Deliver a high-impact final presentation to present your process analysis findings, proposed solution, and its projected contribution to business growth.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program for Marketing, Business, Analytics, or Communications.
• Expected graduation date of Winter 2027 or Summer 2028.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to take ownership and lead with drive.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or MBA is a plus.
• Passionate interest in making a difference in pets, sustainability, veterinary medicine, or data-driven approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellence in phone, speaking, and formal presentation settings.
• Ability to think strategically and make critical decisions within the context of uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work exceptionally well independently with minimal supervision.
