About the role
The Livestock Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services and focus on new market development within the livestock industry. The intern will contact sellers within the livestock industry and educate them on Sandhills' products and services, including explaining websites and assisting with entering listings. The position also involves handling inbound and outbound customer calls and email communications, gathering information on industry shows and meetings, and researching the livestock industry to ensure proper listing information on the site. The intern will provide feedback from the industry while building solid relationships with members of the industries served. A strong focus on customer service, sales, and teamwork is essential.
Responsibilities
- Contact livestock industry sellers to educate them on Sandhills' products and services.
- Explain website functionality and assist with entering seller listings.
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and email communications.
- Gather information on industry shows and meetings.
- Research the livestock industry to ensure accurate listing information on the site.
- Provide industry feedback and build relationships with industry members.
- Assist in customer service, sales, and implementation tasks.
- Work as part of a team to support the success of websites and publications.
- Assume other duties as assigned.

Pay
$20/hour.
