Dairy Cattle Marketing Intern

About the role

The Dairy Cattle Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the dairy cattle industry.

Responsibilities

• Contact sellers within the dairy cattle and livestock industries and educate them on our products and services.
• Enter their own information and their listings onto our website.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and email communications.
• Research shows and meetings in the industry.
• Provide feedback from the industry regarding listing information on our site.
• Build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve.
• Achieve a heavy focus on customer service and sales.
• Assist in the implementation of various tasks.

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in the dairy cattle industry.
• Ability to commute to the local office when scheduled.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment.
• Results-oriented.
