Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives across Summit Logistics Group 3PL and asset divisions.
  • Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms and content calendar.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content highlighting the company's services, capabilities, employees, customers, equipment, facilities, accomplishments, and community involvement.
  • Coordinate website content and updates to ensure information remains current and aligned with company branding.
  • Create marketing materials, presentations, digital graphics, promotional materials, and other branded content.
  • Capture photography and video content for marketing, social media, events, and company communications.
  • Support internal and external communications, including employee announcements, company updates, and marketing communications.
  • Maintain consistent branding across digital platforms, marketing materials, events, and other company communications.
  • Coordinate with external marketing vendors, photographers, designers, printers, and other partners as needed.
  • Track and analyze marketing activity, digital engagement, campaign performance, and other key metrics to measure results and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and opportunities to increase company visibility and brand awareness.
  • Plan and coordinate company events, customer events, industry events, conferences, trade shows, and employee activities.
  • Manage event logistics including venues, catering, vendors, invitations, promotional materials, signage, and supplies.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, recognition activities, and company culture programs.
  • Work closely with leadership, sales, operations, recruiting, and other departments to identify and execute marketing and event opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from concept through completion and proactively communicate progress, challenges, and results.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing efforts, processes, engagement, and overall company visibility.
  • Maintain organized marketing assets, event materials, photos, videos, logos, and other company resources.
  • Absorb and assist with special projects and other marketing, event, and company initiatives as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or event coordination.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and developing content strategies.
  • Experience using Canva or similar graphic design platforms.
  • Experience with website content management, email marketing, or digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience coordinating corporate events, trade shows, conferences, or industry events.
  • Experience with photography, video, or other visual content creation.
  • Experience working with marketing agencies, vendors, or outside partners.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, reporting, CRM, or other marketing technology platforms.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing initiatives with measurable results.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced organization.
  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, and event coordination.
  • Experience creating and managing digital content and social media.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Results-driven approach with the ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and take ownership of assigned projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working under deadlines.
  • Professional and effective communication skills with employees, customers, vendors, and leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
