Marketing Specialist
About the role
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and managing communications that support engagement and growth within Payroc’s indirect sales channel.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Multi-Channel Campaign Execution
- Execute email marketing, nurture campaigns, and digital outreach initiatives focused on partner engagement and recruiting
- Support campaign builds, including emails, landing pages, and workflows
- Monitor campaign timelines and ensure timely and accurate execution
- Partner Communications Management
- Develop and manage partner-facing communications, including newsletters, program updates, policy changes, and time-sensitive announcements
- Cross-functional inputs to ensure communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with business priorities
- Ensure clear, concise, and effective messaging tailored to the indirect channel audience
- Sales Enablement Support
- Maintain and update sales enablement materials to support partners, including sales sheets, presentations, and campaign assets
- Ensure partners have access to current, relevant materials that support product positioning and sales conversations
- Auxiliary in fulfilling external marketing and enablement requests from partners
- Field Marketing & Tradeshow Coordination
- Coordinate marketing support for tradeshows and industry events, including asset preparation, logistics, and alignment with Business Development Executives (BDEs)
- Support pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up communications to maximize engagement and impact
- Auxiliary in ensuring sales teams are equipped with the appropriate materials and messaging for events
- Social Media & Awareness Campaign Support
- Cook up social media content to support partner recruiting and business development awareness initiatives
- Align content with campaign themes, promotions, and sales priorities
- Auxiliary in the execution of paid and organic media campaigns to increase visibility and engagement
- Marketing Automation & Campaign Support
- Support the execution of marketing automation workflows, audience segmentation, and engagement tracking using platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools
- Auxiliary in maintaining campaign tracking and reporting accuracy
- Sales Funnel & Engagement Support
- Track campaign performance and engagement metrics to support ongoing optimization efforts
- Auxiliary in refining nurture campaigns and communication strategies to improve partner engagement and activation
- Content & Product Messaging Support
- Support the development and execution of messaging that clearly communicates Payroc’s product offerings and value proposition
- Auxiliary in ensuring messaging is consistent across campaigns, communications, and sales enablement materials
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing Operations teams to support campaign execution and communication delivery
- Cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment and timely completion of deliverables
- 2–4 years of experience in campaign execution, marketing communications, or sales support roles
- Experience in the payments industry, financial technology, merchant services, or a related field strongly preferred
- Experience working in a business-to-business environment required
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Hubspot, Monday.com (or similar), Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
Qualifications
Working Conditions
Extensive desk-based work involving prolonged periods using a computer and sitting for extended periods. Frequent interaction with team members, leaders, subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to support learning intake, coordination, and project execution.
