MMA provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals. The Marketing & Events Coordinator supports sales and marketing efforts to nurture and develop engaged leads, working directly with the local sales operations team and the regional CORE team.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the lifecycle of Webinar and Seminar events, including registration set-up, promotion, execution/hosting, registration and attendance reporting, compliance, CE credits, recording, and social media promotion
  • Coordinates content, schedules, and other logistics related to events
  • Provides onsite event coordination and support
  • Works with local and regional internal communication and social media team members to promote events internally
  • Supports calendar management of local events
  • Coordinates booth setup, registrations, and staffing at external tradeshows and events
  • Coordinates sponsorships and exhibit presence with regional support when needed
  • Supports company executives who schedule external speaking engagements
  • Establishes and works within defined budgets to achieve goals and desired results
  • Works with Sales Enablement to ensure new leads generated from events are added into the CRM database
  • Coordinates with the administrative team for support and internal communication around events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related area of study preferred
  • 1-3 years' experience project management or event planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong planning, coordinating and communication skills; coordinates projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and budget; manages project team activities
  • Self-starter and service oriented with a collaborative work style and approach
