About the Role
The Marketing and Events Coordinator executes corporate marketing initiatives, social media strategy, and event preparation. This dynamic role requires a blend of creative design, digital community management, and rigorous project coordination. Operating as an impactful individual contributor, the Coordinator oversees brand alignment, creates internal communications, and delivers high-impact national and regional events. The ideal candidate thrives in a cross-functional environment, managing client-vendor relationships and multiple moving priorities with absolute precision.
Responsibilities
- Social Media & Brand Management
- Content Creation: Plan, design, and schedule daily engaging posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram leveraging Canva and Hootsuite.
- Brand Governance: Serve as an internal brand ambassador, ensuring company-wide compliance with logos, templates, email signatures, and strict brand standards.
- Asset Creation: Design and maintain professional customer-facing collateral, including digital presentations, brochures, flyers, advertisements, promotional items, and promotional graphics.
- Communications & Content Distribution
- Internal Newsletter: Source, curate, and design a bi-weekly company-wide newsletter using Constant Contact.
- Intranet Management: Keep the corporate intranet updated for marketing collateral.
- National Event Coordination: Partner with Business Development to execute national customer and association events, managing sponsorships, registrations, invoice processing, hotel blocks, shipping, calendaring, and pre-event email marketing campaigns.
- Local Branch Support: Consult with Branch General Managers to source custom promotional items, secure specialized orders, and design custom displays for local events.
- Inventory & Procurement: Research high-quality promotional merchandise, apparel, event signage, and printing companies. Manage the ordering, inventory storage, and timely shipping of branded assets.
- Manage the Real Floors webstore and website.
- Travel: Intermittent travel (up to 10%) to manage off-site events, which may involve variable indoor and outdoor environments.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva.
- Professional experience managing corporate profiles via Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Strong command of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Superior organizational and time-management skills to balance concurrent projects.

- Education & Experience
- 2 or more years of professional experience in corporate marketing and event coordination is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience within the multifamily industry is not required but is preferred.
- Physical Demands and Work Environment
- The employee is regularly required to talk or listen and frequently uses hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee must possess dexterity in operating office equipment and occasionally sit for long periods, stand, walk, bend, stoop, or reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
