About the Opportunity

The Marketing, Events and Programs Coordinator plays a key role supporting the Executive Director by managing digital marketing, corporate communications, end-to-end event logistics, and volunteer committee operations. This position is central to the team’s efforts to engage existing members and external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth execution of regional events and effective brand communication. It is a highly hands-on role suited for a self-motivated professional who can work independently in a structured remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Create, design, and manage compelling digital marketing content and promotional graphics using Canva
  • Cook up, draft, and schedule targeted email marketing communications to active members and prospective leads
  • Maintain, monitor, and actively update the district council's corporate social media accounts to drive engagement
  • Update the localized website content promptly with accurate event information, registration details, and post-event photos
  • Prepare professional event materials, including formal agendas, printed collateral, and digital presentations
  • Organize full-scale event logistics, including catering management, venue setup coordination, on-site registration desks, and vendor invoicing
  • Enter, audit, and systematically manage member data within core CRM and Association Management Systems (AMS) platforms
  • Support the end-to-end delivery of key educational programs, networking forums, and flagship regional events
  • Aid volunteer committees with calendar scheduling, internal communications, and active membership tracking
  • Attend formal committee meetings, capture accurate minutes, and distribute summary notes to stakeholders
  • Provide comprehensive operational support to the Executive Director, including calendar scheduling and day-to-day communications
  • Manage general member inquiries promptly and professionally via phone and dedicated email channels
  • Handle routine financial tasks, including invoice generation, expense tracking, and payment processing configurations
  • Maintain organized online record repositories and proactively order office or event supplies as needed

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience operating within digital marketing, social media management, or corporate communications
  • Strong organizational skills with an uncompromised attention to administrative and numerical detail
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills suited for engaging senior real estate leaders and civic volunteers
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines within an independent remote environment
  • Strong customer service orientation with a welcoming, problem-solving disposition
  • Flexible schedule availability to attend and support in-person events in the Salt Lake City area, including occasional evening and early weekend commitments
  • Prior professional experience in corporate event planning, hospitality coordination, or program management (preferred)
  • Strong graphic design skills, with specific operational fluency in Canva or the Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
  • Practical experience navigating dedicated CRM/AMS databases or enterprise email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Mailchimp) (preferred)
  • Genuine interest in or foundational knowledge of the local Salt Lake City real estate market, urban planning, or land use trends (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent practical professional experience (preferred)

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The target baseline salary framework is $42,545.00 to $54,596.00 USD annually. Final salary positioning within this tier is calibrated dynamically based upon the candidate's core event coordination background, graphic design portfolio evaluation, and marketing platform system fluencies.
