Marketing & Engagement Manager

About the role

The Marketing & Engagement Manager will lead communications for Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA), a leading state economic development association with over 900 members and a growing presence in Ohio's economic landscape.

Responsibilities

• Owning newsletters, website content, social media, and member storytelling
• Maintaining a clear, consistent, and impactful voice for OEDA
• Managing LinkedIn as the primary platform for all communications
• Producing a high volume of content using AI tools
• Working independently in a remote environment
• Engaging directly in economic development work

Requirements

• Experience within an economic development organization (marketing or communications)
• Familiarity with Ohio’s economic development ecosystem
• Proficiency with and enthusiasm for AI tools
• Strong writing, graphic design, and video editing skills
• Experience managing newsletters, digital content, and social media
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setting
• Direct experience in economic development work
• Prior experience with OEDA and a positive attitude towards the organization’s mission
