Marketing Director, Healthcare Providers
About the Role
PatientPoint is seeking a Marketing Director to own the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated marketing programs that attract, convert, and grow healthcare provider audiences. This is a strategic ownership role where you'll set the objectives, audience, budget, and success metrics for every campaign, with success determined by the business outcomes those campaigns deliver. You'll manage a team of three and work daily across Customer Success, Provider Sales, Provider Ops, Product, and Content & Creative. This role requires comfort presenting to sales leadership regularly and pivoting quickly when priorities shift.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Ownership
- Own campaigns end-to-end: set objectives, define target audience, manage budget, and establish success metrics.
- Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns blending digital tactics, SEM/SEO, demand gen, and ABM.
- Build strategic segmentation and targeting approaches grounded in provider audience insights.
- Concept creative campaigns that break through in a crowded healthcare marketing landscape.
- Identify and test new channels to reach hard-to-find audiences.
- Demand Generation & Lifecycle
- Own full-funnel demand gen, including lead capture, nurture, and handoff to sales.
- Report on marketing performance against established metrics for sales and executive stakeholders.
- Apply ABM principles to prioritize and personalize outreach to high-value provider accounts.
- Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Develop sales enablement plans, messaging frameworks, and product collateral for the provider sales team.
- Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for provider sales and ops leadership.
- Present regularly to sales teams (meetings, kickoffs, pipeline reviews).
- Partner closely with Customer Success, Provider Sales, Provider Ops, Product, and Content & Creative.
- Events
- Support marketing’s role in events across the full lifecycle: pre-event promotion, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
- Customer Communications & Go-to-Market
- Develop customer communications to support retention and product utilization.
- Build and execute GTM plans for new product launches, tailored for prospects and existing customers.
- Create customer onboarding and training materials.
- Shape thought leadership and educational content for key provider segments.
- Team Leadership & Planning
- Manage and develop a team of three, setting clear priorities and fostering growth.
- Contribute to annual planning, including budgeting, KPI setting, and reporting on marketing effectiveness.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B or healthcare marketing experience, ideally in a provider-facing or health tech environment.
- Experience owning campaign strategy and budget.
- Direct people management experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a small team.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare provider landscape, practice operations, and provider buying processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in ABM, digital marketing, SEM/SEO, and demand generation.
- Proven ability to craft B2B messaging that resonates with clinical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Comfort and credibility presenting to sales leadership on an ongoing basis.
- Experience building GTM plans for product launches addressing both prospects and existing customers.
- Understanding of lead capture, nurture, and delivery mechanics, with clear performance reporting.
- Working knowledge of marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, 6sense).
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Comfort with ambiguity and speed, able to reprioritize quickly without losing strategic focus.
- Strong creative instincts and comfort concepting campaigns, not just briefing them.
