Leads brand marketing for Blue Ox and building the HandsFree Labs brand in the marketplace. This is a highly entrepreneurial role that blends brand strategy, integrated marketing, content development, partner marketing, and executional excellence.

  • Lead Blue Ox brand marketing, consumer insights, and integrated plans.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and scrappy problem-solving.
  • Shape and grow the visibility of the HFL ingredient brand across the industry.
  • Drive all HFL co-branded and partner-facing marketing support.
  • Develop the brand marketing strategy and annual integrated marketing plan for Blue Ox.
  • Create and manage campaign development and execution across digital, retail, influencer, trades, and community channels.
  • Build a deep understanding of the work/trade consumer, translating insights into differentiated programs and messaging.
  • Own the Blue Ox marketing calendar, storytelling, and go-to-market activation for product launches.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with product, eCommerce, retail, creative, and operations.
  • Drive consumer engagement programs including jobsite activations, partnerships, trade influencers, and grassroots opportunities.
  • Refined and executed the marketing strategy for the HFL ingredient brand, including positioning, messaging, and identity.
  • Managed all co-branded guidelines and materials to ensure consistent brand application across partners and licensees.
  • Owes content needs for HFL channels including web, sales enablement tools, B2B materials, and trade marketing assets.
  • Served as the marketing lead supporting licensing and partnership efforts, working directly with business development, product, and legal.
  • Developed and managed the HFL marketing calendar across launches, tech storytelling, events, and partner activations.
  • Lead creative brief development and oversee content production to meet brand and channel needs.
  • Track performance, insights, and trends to inform ongoing strategy and optimization.
  • Ensure brand consistency, quality, and alignment across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Manage vendor and agency partners as needed.
  • Thrive in a startup-like environment with scrappiness and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Familiarity with or exposure to the construction, trades, or “work” category.

Technologically-savvy with a deep understanding of components and “how it works”.

Demonstrated ability to build integrated marketing plans and execute across multiple channels.

Strong content development skills for both consumer and B2B audiences.

Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity and build processes from the ground up.

Strong communication, collaboration, and project management abilities.

6–10+ years in brand marketing, ideally in footwear, apparel, outdoor, workwear, or consumer products.

Experience with ingredient branding, co-branded partnerships, or B2B2C storytelling is a strong plus.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Frequent travel.

Must live in Utah or be willing to relocate.
