Director, Product Marketing (Remote)
About the role
The Director, Product Marketing will shape how Availity's products are positioned, launched, and brought to life in the market. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, customer insight, storytelling, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue impact.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to drive alignment and business impact.
- Conduct market, buyer, and competitive research to inform strategy, positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Define clear, differentiated positioning, messaging, and storytelling that resonates with target audiences.
- Plan and support product launches, including communications, enablement, and cross-functional coordination.
- Create and guide content that supports the buyer journey, sales conversations, and market awareness.
- Purposefully partner with demand generation and account-based marketing teams to drive pipeline and campaign effectiveness.
- Enable sales and partner teams with tools, training, and content that strengthen customer engagement.
- Use data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve decision-making, scale programs, and increase marketing effectiveness.
- Lead team performance, prioritize resources, and drive measurable outcomes across product marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of B2B technology or healthcare technology marketing experience, with at least 5 years in marketing leadership or management roles.
- Proven success developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue impact.
- Strong experience in product marketing, including positioning, messaging, launches, market research, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement.
- Ability to translate complex products and market insights into clear, compelling narratives for buyers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with product management, sales, customer success, engineering, and demand generation teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data, KPIs, and market insights to guide strategy and measure performance.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, marketing technology, analytics platforms, CRM, and automation tools to improve decision-making and scale impact.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executives and serve as a compelling storyteller.
- Experience leading teams, managing budgets, and developing talent in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
