Marketing Director
About the role
The Marketing Director (MD) is a member of the RBG executive leadership team for the WC/EC and a key contributor to RBD’s growth and strategy, supporting Reyes Holdings LLC’s success. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and oversees RBD’s marketing strategy, including development and execution of the marketing budget. The MD ensures systems are in place to address complex marketing situations related to spending efficiency, brokers, advertising, packaging, consumer targeting/research, margin analysis, pricing strategy, and product development, including portfolio analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and vision for the marketing function to ensure the highest standards of excellence and efficiency.
- Serve as a member of the RBG executive leadership team, collaborating across business units to resource and execute priority initiatives.
- Partner with Sales Executives and leaders to develop agile systems and processes that keep RBD responsive to consumer trends while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
- Lead acquisition and integration strategies.
- Mentor Marketing Managers, providing tools and resources to partner effectively with their respective business units, including succession planning, goal setting, professional development, performance management, compensation, and recruitment.
- Partner with other Reyes Holdings business units to align resources and achieve leverage scale.
- Advise on and contribute to the Succeed as One strategic roadmap.
- Coordinate sales efforts with BU Sales Executives and East Coast leadership to implement overall strategy and marketing programs.
- Enhance supplier relations through development, communication, and monitoring of annual and monthly business plans.
- Understand and communicate supplier marketing plans and strategies to Marketing Managers, sales, and delivery teams.
- Involve supplier alliances and sponsorships with professional teams, social groups, fan clubs, and industry organizations.
- Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, including development and management of short- and long-term business plans, operating budgets, and analysis.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the food or beverage industry.
- No less than five (5) years of experience in an executive leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or other advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Supplier experience, preferably 3–5 years in multiple ascending roles.
