About the role

This is a temporary, part-time (20-25 hours per week) Marketing Coordinator position that will work on-site in the University Marketing department located at UH’s Technology Bridge. Initial 12-month term, subject to annual evaluation based on performance and organizational needs, and consideration for renewal.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Brand Manager with brand review and compliance and supports other marketing campaigns and initiatives as needed.
  • Reviews and provides feedback on brand review submissions.
  • Tracks submission revisions and processes brand approvals.
  • Answers branding inquiries from internal and external clients.
  • Documents and automates brand review policies and procedures.
  • Reviews digital screen, UHGO and Access UH submissions.
  • Analyzes trends and identifies areas for improvement or optimization.

Requirements

  • A thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline.
  • Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Some work experience, which could include internships or part-time positions.
  • Familiarity with project management software.

Skills

  • Marketing and brand management knowledge or coursework.

$20.67 - $23.51 per hour.
