Job located within a 40-mile radius of AP Hill, Virginia.
About the role
Provides oversight and management of the marketing office. Primary responsibility is to promote and market services that support strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implements promotions and marketing campaigns that support offered programs, services, facilities, and activities.
- Manages all aspects of the event/promotion including: planning, budgets, execution, and after-action reports.
- Conducts commercial sponsorship and advertising.
- Photographs DFMWR special events.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications
- Related work experience that includes events and promotion implementation management experience.
- Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotions using tools of the trade and social media.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel.
- Experience must be clearly reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered.
