Marketing Coordinator - Eldorado Scioto Downs ( Columbus , Ohio )

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests during deployment of special events and promotions.
• Deploy and coordinate property contests, including ordering, selecting materials, setting up, decorating, and selecting prize-winners.
• Maintain and manage promotional materials such as décor, promotional merchandising, and other promotional tools.
• Work as event staff to set up events, administer contests, issue prizes, and ensure proper procedures or rules are followed.
• Coordinate property activation events with player’s club personnel and/or promotional agencies.
• Upload and manage photo galleries for contest winners and communicate relevant information to the company’s digital agency for social media.
• Assist with and participate in activities related to audio, visual, and digital media.
• Cook with and assist with group sales.
• Comply with the drug & alcohol free workplace policy.

Qualifications

• A flexible schedule and willingness to work any hours required for events or other company needs.
• An outgoing individual capable of interacting with all types of people.
• The ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Exposure to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• A minimum age of 21.

Education Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office.
• Customer Service experience.
• One to three years of promotions experience is preferred, but not required.
