Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in proofreading, editing, and formatting member, provider, and outreach materials.
- Maintain audit records for all marketing materials and approvals.
- Support website review and support, including completing scheduled reviews, fixing problems, preparing documents for posting, updating content, and ensuring 508 compliance.
- Collaborate with community organizations and internal staff to organize outreach events, manage materials, conduct event reviews, and submit reports.
- Manage SharePoint calendars, schedule tasks, maintain records, generate mailing lists, set up documents, and implement projects to support marketing strategies.
- Create, maintain, and utilize operating instructions and tools necessary for marketing activities and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Attend and actively participate in department meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions.
- Identify areas for improvement and address concerns, providing relevant information to management.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience, training, or coursework.
- One year of experience in supporting marketing and communications operations.
- Proficient in adapting to changing situations and efficiently managing multiple projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accurate work.
- Strong computer skills including fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience writing and managing complex documents; and use of the web for research.
- Knowledge of healthcare, Medi-Cal managed care, and Medicare.
- Fluent in written Spanish, Vietnamese, and/or Chinese.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Self-directed, proactive, and capable of making decisions within the scope of the position.
- Confidentiality and compliance with SCFHP policies and procedures.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed based on business and regulatory requirements.
- Safety awareness and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions
- Office environment with occasional contact with co-workers, managers, external partners, and vendors.
- Regular bending, stooping, reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Reading printed materials and using a computer screen.
- Performing repetitive motions (keyboard), writing (note-taking), and operating computer keyboards and other office equipment.
- Hearing and talking to exchange information in person and on the phone.
- Thinking and working effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail and maintaining a concentrated level of attention throughout a typical workday.
