Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day marketing efforts for both the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. This role focuses on executing strategies and tactics that support organizational goals. They’ll be a brand champion working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to ensure the brands are represented accurately and consistently across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end execution of NFL and NBA tentpole campaigns by managing creative asset trackers, coordinating delivery, and assisting with activations
- Serve as the point of contact for routing creative assets across various departments including but not limited to Sales, PR, Community, and Partnerships, ensuring all teams have the latest versions of campaign materials
- Research sports industry trends to provide actionable insights to help deliver products and experiences that are recognized best in class
- Ensure brand guidelines are understood and accurately deployed by both internal and external partners
- Foster a collaborative and positive relationship with all internal stakeholders
- Independently manage specific projects such as internal recap presentations, promo item creation, and asset development for special events and international activations
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on the schedule of the NFL and NBA
Requirements
- Four-year degree in marketing, business, communication or a related field
- 1-2 years of brand marketing or advertising experience, in a support or assistant capacity
- Excellent project management skills and comfort with a fast-paced work environment
- Strong understanding of brand fundamentals
- Adaptable and efficient learner; able to step in and pick up on projects quickly
- Ability to support campaign execution from setup to post-campaign reporting with strong attention to detail
