Class/Group: Hourly/Non‑Exempt, Group III | Reports to: Marketing & Data Systems Manager | Pay Range: $20.00‑$25.00 /hour | Status: Year‑round, Full‑Time
Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is a core member of the Mission Ridge marketing team and carries out much of its day‑to‑day work. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, a strong communicator and content creator, comfortable with digital media and AI tools, and genuinely enthusiastic about skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoor lifestyle.

- Produce and update digital signage and in‑resort print materials.
- Promote and cover on‑mountain events and promotions, capturing live content and assisting staff as needed.
- Apply Mission Ridge’s voice and brand standards consistently across every channel in daily production.
- Provide marketing‑adjacent support to general resort operations and coordinate across departments for timely, cohesive messaging.
- As needed, provide occasional support for marketing efforts at Blacktail Mountain, especially in the summer months (secondary duty).

- Organizational ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- On‑snow ability: comfortable skiing or snowboarding to gather content (preferred).
- Passion for skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoor lifestyle.
- Education/Experience: high school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree or coursework in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field preferred; 1‑2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Outdoor duties often take place in winter weather conditions, including cold, wet, or snowy environments. The pace is fast, especially on weekends, holidays, and during events. Mission Ridge maintains a drug‑ and alcohol‑free workplace and a non‑smoking facility. Hours may fluctuate due to the seasonal nature of the ski industry, and weekend and holiday work is expected. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
