Job Overview
You will work in a team-oriented environment and fully support and provide assistance to the marketing team with administrative tasks, provide engaging customer service, and assist in developing and implementing Lake Nona Wave Hotel’s brand strategy. You will also support the continuing effort to deliver distinctively different guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement property and market-based initiatives to drive awareness of the hotel, primarily our guest rooms, restaurants and bars, and meetings and events as well as promoting the wider destination of Lake Nona
- Works closely with all departments, particularly sales and catering, on graphic design projects to support sales efforts
- Works closely with agency partners to support digital marketing, email, print, and PR activations
- Participates in hotel events and creates content to further promote future opportunities
- Supports the development and maintenance of internal tools, including credentials database, trackers, global contact directory, and intranets
- Maintains inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinates the creation of new materials when necessary
- Continually seeks new sources of prospective customer data and provides recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
Qualifications
- Proven accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong graphic design skills with knowledge of video editing, Adobe, and Canva
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exhibits flexibility and adaptability to the changing and evolving needs of the operation
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor
- Must be able to function as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing is required
- Desirable: Flexibility, previous experience providing service to others and administrative support, proven sales and customer service skills, and great communication skills
Working Environment/Physical Demands
