About the role
This team member is a key creator of materials that support Gensler’s B2B business development efforts. With the support of the marketing team, this position will work under the direction of senior staff and marketing leadership to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other collateral used to help the firm tell great stories and win new projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Principals, senior staff, and the marketing team to develop proposals, presentations, and pursuit materials—researching, writing, designing, and producing content in alignment with Gensler brand standards.
- Manage the scheduling, production, and delivery of marketing materials to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Actively participate in pursuit strategy and planning sessions, contributing ideas and insights to strengthen messaging and positioning.
- Develop and refine new marketing materials to support business development and client engagement efforts.
- Cook up multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting fast-paced deadlines.
- Build a strong understanding of Gensler’s portfolio, practice areas, and firmwide capabilities to effectively communicate the firm’s value.
- Maintain marketing resources and information systems, including updating project documentation, resumes, and marketing collateral, and coordinating materials as needed.
- Support additional marketing initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional experience; experience in the AEC industry preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or communications.
- Proficiencies in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are a must.
- Proficiencies in the broader suite of Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Self-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator.
- Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and diverse project teams in a fast-paced work environment.
- The ability to maintain and foster positive team and co-worker relationships.
Benefits
The base salary will be estimated between $60,000-75,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
