About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator provides first-in-class marketing support for sales teams and other departments by executing campaigns, lead-generating events, and internal initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Marketing Coordinator serves as the point of contact between marketing, sales, and leadership teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with the dealership’s brand and standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, relationship-builder, and project manager.

Responsibilities

• Use exceptional project management skills to organize and implement campaigns, events, and programs, maximizing performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, and creative agencies on concept development, copywriting, and editing for digital and print communications.
• Drive marketing execution to ensure business units have the materials and tools they need.
• Collaborate and implement the overall Marketing plan for various business segments.
• Manage external tasks to ensure projects are completed as planned.
• Understand and maintain core positioning, messaging, and segmentation for products through advertising, promotional strategies, and new product development.
• Select and order on-brand promotional items that complement marketing strategies and attract customer interest.
• Develop relationships with Caterpillar counterparts to align on communication strategies and marketing goals.
• Champion the dealership brand and ensure consistent use across online platforms, merchandise, and print communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related business field is required.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in marketing or creative functions.
• At least 3 years of experience creating and inventing marketing and design elements.
• Ability to invent, create, and develop marketing initiatives.
• Strong project management skills, including setting and managing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, planning, organizing, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present effectively to groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain documents such as monthly reports.
• Strong report-writing and correspondence skills for internal and external audiences.
• Data analysis and visualization skills are preferred.
• Ability to relate to all levels of employees and motivate team members is preferred.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
