Marketing Coordinator

Part-time position based in our Clarksville, TN office.

About the role

This is a relationship-building and marketing field position focused on distributing branded networking materials, participating in community events, and engaging in business-related activities. The ideal candidate has a dynamic personality, a passion for sales and marketing, and is eager to learn new sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Distribute marketing materials to potential customers and referral sources.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as referral sources.
• Identify target customers and markets.
• Collaborate with management to develop marketing plans and goals.
• Collect and maintain sales records required to track, review, and modify the performance of marketing initiatives.
• Monitor actionable metrics via forecasting and analyzing sales trends, marketing strategies, and product (service) performance.
• Prepare and present reports summarizing information while making recommendations based on analysis.
• Participate on social media platforms, in community events, and local networking business group meetings.
• Work closely with our Marketing Company (CGI) to monitor and help maintain web pages and social media platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of related experience in business, promotional sales, marketing, customer service, or a related field (college-level courses considered for experience).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
• Strong sales and relationship marketing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
