Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, create, and publish marketing content across websites, social media, email, paid digital media, and other online platforms.
  • Conceptualize and design creative assets, including campaign graphics, sales collateral, signage, event materials, social media graphics, email layouts, and more.
  • Help modernize and maintain the visual identity of CEC and its affiliated brands while ensuring consistent use of brand standards, voice, messaging, and imagery.
  • Manage day-to-day website content and updates, including landing pages, product and service content, location information, and campaign support.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, layout, testing, scheduling, and performance reporting.
  • Manage social media content calendars and publishing; monitor channel activity, engagement, trends, and customer interactions.
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to evaluate website, email, social media, search, and campaign performance; translate findings into recommendations.
  • Plan, capture, and edit photography and videography for equipment, jobsites, customer stories, company events, employee features, and marketing campaigns.
  • Organize and maintain the company’s digital asset library and coordinate with outside creative partners when needed.
  • Apply SEO best practices to digital content and support paid search and digital advertising initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate photography and video needs, including shot planning, asset organization, basic editing, and collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Prepare production-ready files and coordinate with printers, media partners, agencies, photographers, developers, and other vendors to deliver projects accurately, on time, and within budget.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Support trade shows, association events, sponsorships, branch events, and internal communications through promotion, signage, and collateral development.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in digital marketing, graphic design, marketing communications, or a similar role.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, layout, typography, and brand application across digital and print work is recommended.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; experience with Premiere Pro or other video-editing tools is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals, including brand management, content development, SEO, social media, email marketing, and digital analytics.
  • Strong written, verbal, proofreading, and presentation skills.
  • Highly creative, organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in construction, heavy equipment, agriculture, B2B marketing, or a multi-location organization is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to CEC locations, jobsites, and trade shows.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to adhere to prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to speak and write English, and hear to communicate.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to use hands to operate office equipment.
