About the Role
Plans and executes assigned promotional events and activities to ensure that programs effectively stimulate customer patronage at Harrah’s. Ensures activities are held to a high standard and on a strict timeline to realize the highest quality. Ensures the highest level of customer service is utilized.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of property and department policies and procedures. Provides information and trains staff on any changes.
- Ensures all assigned events and promotions are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Continually evaluates all player events and promotions to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, and increasing market share. Makes recommendations for changes or new programs that will stimulate business.
- Keeps abreast of competitive casino marketing events and promotions.
- Oversees the execution of all events and promotion development to ensure the highest quality experience for guests.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with other departments, properties, corporate, and outside vendors to secure and maintain cooperation for assistance with promotions/events.
- Works as a team with the Promotions/Events staff and Marketing Department.
- Greets participants, interacts with them on the casino floor, and provides prompt, courteous, friendly, and efficient service in accordance with standard procedures.
- Develops good working relationships and maintains effective communication with other departments to secure and maintain their cooperation for assistance with events and promotions.
- Creates a fun and festive atmosphere for all events, promotions, and celebrations.
- Provides "A" level guest service (Deliver 140 minimum on all SOS observations) at all times.
- Knows CMS, WINet, and offer redemption systems and procedures.
- Able to make sound business decisions under pressure.
- Knows and can explain the Caesars Rewards program; must be able to research player activity and history.
- Able to search CMS and PDB to find any existing player accounts.
- Must be APS certified and have proficient knowledge of all casino systems (CMS, LMS, and EMS) as well as Microsoft systems.
- Ability to proof invites, event announcements, rules in Experience One, and complete regular updates of the Daily Event Counts.
Requirements
- College degree with emphasis on marketing, hospitality, business administration, or equivalent/comparable experience.
- Level I: Less than 1 year in organizing events/promotions or related activities. Executes kiosk promotions, gift giveaways, and Executive Engagements.
- Level II: Minimum of 1 year in organizing events/promotions or related activities. Executes slot/blackjack tournaments, dinners, kiosk promotions, gift giveaways, and Executive Engagements.
- Fluent and literate in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to meet people easily and talk to them in a relaxed and friendly manner.
- Excellent guest and employee relations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with a capacity to work independently and make appropriate decisions without supervision.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Ability to handle many projects at one time and react well under pressure.
- Ability to set consistent examples to staff in excellent guest service and organizational skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and attitudes in all circumstances.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming license.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures.
- Must have mobility to navigate between the two properties.
- Ability to work flexible hours (Days, Nights, Holidays, etc.).
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs, must be able to occasionally push a 90 lb cart.
- Ability to grasp, finger dexterity, use repetitive hand motion.
- Ability to hear, speak, read, see, and write.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
