Lead with Purpose. Partner with Impact. The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing Synthesis Wealth Planning’s marketing initiatives across digital, print, events, client communications, and advisor visibility. This position collaborates closely with firm leadership, advisors, compliance, vendors, and operations to ensure consistent branding, timely execution, and measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for SWP and associated brands.
- Oversee relationships and expenses with marketing vendors in collaboration with the Office Manager.
- Maintain a consistent annual marketing calendar, including:
- Calendaring speaking/writing engagements for SWP advisors and employees.
- Scheduling marketing-related events and advisor travel.
- Coordinate and execute:
- Podcasts, monthly and one-off webinars, and seminars/workshops.
- Email marketing campaigns, including Constant Contact for firm-related emails.
- Design and creation of a semi-annual newsletter for regular mail.
- Manage SWP’s social media presence:
- Take and edit individual and group photos.
- Oversee LinkedIn, firm Facebook, and other social media pages, including any future online presence.
- Coordinate all ACR submissions for marketing-related materials (social media, newsletters, News & Notes, blog, vlog, webinars, podcasts, articles, website).
- Create agendas and minutes for marketing meetings.
- Attend conferences, workshops, team meetings, and retreats, including the annual planning summit.
- Train and mentor other marketing and client relations associates.
- Fill in for other marketing and client relations roles during vacancies or as needed.
- Input Marketing Team scorecard data into the EOS tracking system (currently Ninety.io).
- Implement an annual Plan of Work and adapt it as the role evolves.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; positive, professional phone presence.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Forward-thinking, problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate client and team needs.
- Customer-first attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Experience in financial services or a similar client-facing role preferred.
