Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications preferred and 1-2 years proven experience as a marketing coordinator, banking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
- Ability to manage projects across multiple departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, including presentation skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Maintains physical and digital filing systems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations.
Administrative functions
- Manage distribution and inventory of marketing materials (e.g., posters, flyers) across branch locations.
- Serve as a primary contact for branch inquiries related to marketing support and materials.
- Create and manage shipping logistics, including generating labels and tracking delivery of marketing assets.
- Support sponsorship and donation programs, including tracking requests, documentation, and invoicing.
- Manage promotional item inventory, ordering, and reconciliation of related invoices.
- Ensure marketing materials follow established compliance approval procedures.
- Cook up and manage workflows and approvals for marketing deliverables to ensure timely execution and compliance adherence.
- Coordinate with Compliance to route and secure approvals for print and digital marketing content.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation through electronic filing systems (e.g., shared drives).
Coordination of Corporate Communications
- Develop, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including newsletters, emails, press releases, and company announcements.
- Support the execution of corporate communication strategies that align with organizational goals and brand messaging.
- Cook up content across multiple channels, including intranet, website, social media, and executive communications.
- Aid in planning and managing company events, town halls, and leadership communications.
- Maintain and update communication calendars to ensure timely delivery of messaging initiatives.
- Cook up and collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Marketing, PR, Legal) to ensure consistency and accuracy of communications.
- Draft and proofread materials to ensure clarity, tone alignment, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Monitor media coverage and industry news; compile summaries and reports for leadership.
- Support crisis communication efforts by preparing messaging and coordinating rapid response materials.
- Track and analyze communication metrics (engagement, open rates, reach) and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and media contacts as needed.
- Manage corporate communication assets, templates, and documentation for consistency and accessibility.
Comply with the Bank’s security program
- Be current and knowledgeable on industry’s trends in safeguarding the Bank against confidential data leaks, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats.
- Report suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer or Information Security Officer.
