About the role
The Marketing Coordinator position plays a crucial role in supporting the development of proposals, creating marketing materials, and maintaining internal databases.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development of proposals by coordinating with various proposal team members to obtain required information.
- Creates professional, creative layouts and designs for proposals, balancing images, graphics, copy, and white space.
- Researches, writes, and obtains required reviews for press releases.
- Aids in writing internal newsletters.
- Develops brochures and introductory packages in support of Business Development and Business Acquisition.
- Manages internal CRM/DAM software to keep current project information, client references, and other critical data for proposals.
- Provides creative support for recruiting, subcontractor, and special events, as well as support required by various departments and jobsites.
- Collaborates on award submittals and necessary photography.
- Participates in departmental and marketing team initiatives.
- Assists in the maintenance of social media handles appropriate for various external communication and other media as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
- Experience maintaining database information.
- Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, including email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Office, Outlook).
- One to two years of marketing or design experience.
- Previous experience coordinating internal/external communications, such as websites, newsletters, blogs, etc.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely in a variety of communication settings and styles.
- Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines with composure, sometimes with incomplete information.
Qualifications
- Construction Marketing experience.
- Proposal and graphic design experience.
- Experience with social media, photography, and communication outlets like LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.
- Data management experience with CRM systems.
