About the role
This position supports the marketing and communications efforts of both BHI Club and Shoals Club through social media management, digital marketing, email campaigns, website/app updates, and promotional content creation. The role drives revenue with effective marketing initiatives across Membership, Golf, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Events, Weddings, and Club Communications.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and manage all Club social media platforms; interact with and respond to users in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all content is aligned with Club standards and image; proof content for spelling, grammar, accuracy, and positive Club representation.
- Maintain an active and robust schedule of social media content representing all areas of both Clubs.
- Coordinate with Club leaders to gather relevant content for each department and align content with current Club promotions, events, and specials.
- Assist the Marketing Director in the creation and execution of creative and engaging marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all social media profiles are properly linked to Club websites; report on social media analytics and engagement to maximize platform performance.
- Create and distribute weekly marketing email campaigns to the membership for both Clubs.
- Create promotional graphics and marketing materials for email communications, social media, websites, and Club apps while maintaining brand standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and promote Club events, specials, and initiatives.
- Maintain Club websites and mobile apps with accurate information, updated photography, and timely promotions.
- Assist with Club signage while maintaining branding standards.
- Capture content at key Club events for promotional materials.
- Support marketing initiatives and branding efforts for both BHI Club and Shoals Club.
- Be detail-oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment; solve problems, work as a team, lead initiatives, and inspire happiness.
- Maintain up-to-date credentials, certificates, and licenses, as applicable; commit to continuous professional development and stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
- Be available to work holidays, weekends, evenings, nights, and special events as required by the Club.
