Marketing Coordinator
About the role
We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position supports proposal development, pursuit activities, marketing communications, events, and business development initiatives. Working alongside engineers and fellow marketing professionals, the Marketing Coordinator helps develop compelling marketing materials that strengthen client relationships and support the firm's continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Cook up the development, production, and delivery of proposals, Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), interview materials, presentations, and other pursuit-related marketing collateral
- Maintain and update staff resumes, project sheets, project descriptions, and other qualification materials to support pursuits and teaming opportunities
- Help develop proposal and marketing content by interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation
- Keep the firm’s CRM database updated by ensuring accurate project, client, and staff information to support marketing and pursuit efforts
- Assist with the planning and execution of company events, including tradeshows
- Create content for and help maintain social media accounts
- Research and coordinate abstract and white paper submissions to industry-specific associations
- Support special marketing initiatives and other department priorities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- At least three years professional experience in marketing or business development. (A/E/C Industry a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Create Suite and social media management platforms preferred
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position, with an expectation to work 40 hours per week. BHB offers flexible scheduling options, including five 8-hour days or four 9-hour days with a half day on Friday morning. While the start and end times of the workday can be adjusted, employees are expected to establish and maintain a consistent schedule which must encompass the core business hours of 9am – 4pm. Although overtime is not required, it is requested at times. Some marketing events may require a schedule outside of normal operation hours. This is anticipated to be a couple of times a year.
