What You Will Do
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to execute all marketing project efforts.
- Utilize project management skills to support the team in executing its annual roadmap initiatives in support of the credit union's strategic growth goals.
- Aid in expanding and improving project processes and communications.
- Create creative, high-quality marketing assets within set timelines.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Team coordinator role, managing select programs and projects.
- Coordinate with Marketing Project Lead to develop and execute all marketing elements affecting physical delivery channels, such as branch signage, multi-media, posters, ATMs, and ITMs.
- Manage external advertising requests, ensuring they are reviewed internally and approved or denied.
- Execute marketing events like grand openings, member open houses, and groundbreakings.
- Manage the intranet, updating and loading various forms for employee information and posting electronic versions of marketing campaign elements.
- Support staff meetings and learning events by assisting in creating and revising marketing brochures, sales materials, and member/employee communication.
- Coordinate all Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater-related marketing efforts.
- Maintain the credit union's history/timeline and archive all issues of credit union newsletters and reports.
- Act as the main point of contact for the Marketing Department, fielding and directing phone calls if necessary.
- Ensure daily mail delivery and distribution.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines and are on budget.
- Participate enthusiastically in a team environment.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or related field is required.
- 1-3 years of similar or related experience is required.
- Mastery of basic marketing and public relations theory and practice.
- Exceptional organization and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with various internal teams to create compelling marketing content.
- Excellent written and spoken presentation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to produce good-quality content with tight deadlines while remaining flexible and handling changing priorities.
- Ability to self-start and exercise initiative, good judgment, creativity and diplomacy.
- Resourceful and accountable team player and collaborator.
- Presentation of a friendly, courteous, and professional image to credit union members, potential field of membership companies, outside vendors, and co-workers.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Expert level skills in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to use or be trained to use related office equipment, including calculator, personal computer, Macintosh desktop publishing system, camera, laser printers, and multifunction copier.
