Brief Description
Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Marketing & Content Specialist to support content creation, social media execution, creative development, internal communications, and marketing initiatives across Sunbelt Solomon, Magna IV Engineering, Power Solutions Group, and Trinity Power.
About the Role
This role is responsible for creating and executing content that supports brand awareness, recruiting, customer engagement, and business growth. The successful candidate will help bring company projects, technical expertise, people, and industry leadership to life through compelling content and consistent execution across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, write, edit, and publish content across all company brands.
- Develop social media posts, project highlights, customer success stories, employee features, blogs, website content, email content, and marketing materials.
- Interview subject matter experts and translate technical information into engaging and accessible content.
- Identify and develop stories that showcase company projects, services, employees, customers, safety initiatives, and industry expertise.
- Support development of case studies, presentations, sales materials, brochures, and promotional content.
- Execute social media calendars across all company brands.
- Draft, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content.
- Coordinate content approvals with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor engagement and identify opportunities for future content.
- Aid in monthly reporting and performance tracking.
- Support employee advocacy and leadership visibility initiatives.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and content best practices.
- Create graphics and visual assets for social media, email campaigns, recruiting initiatives, presentations, events, and marketing programs.
- Design and update brochures, sales sheets, presentations, event materials, advertisements, and promotional collateral using established brand standards.
- Edit and prepare photos and video content for marketing use.
- Assist with video creation, editing, and content formatting.
- Cookordination with external designers, photographers, videographers, and vendors when additional creative support is required.
- Ensure marketing materials remain visually consistent with company brand standards.
- Identify opportunities to showcase company projects, employees, customers, services, and industry expertise.
- Partner with service centers, field teams, and business leaders to gather information needed for content development.
- Conduct interviews and collect project details, customer success stories, and technical insights for marketing initiatives.
- Support recruiting and employer branding initiatives through content creation.
- Assist with website content updates and content management.
- Develop content and promotional materials supporting trade shows, recruiting initiatives, marketing campaigns, and company events.
- Develop and distribute employee newsletters.
- Assist with internal announcements, employee recognition programs, and culture initiatives.
- Communicate with acquisitions, company growth, events, milestones, and organizational updates.
- Support company-wide communication campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business, English, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in content creation, social media management, marketing, or related roles.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Experience creating marketing graphics and visual content.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- With HubSpot or similar marketing platforms.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
- Experience with basic video editing and content production.
- Experience in B2B, industrial, engineering, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or technical industries.
- Photography, videography, or multimedia content experience.
