About the Role
Responsible for assisting, developing, and managing content for marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and leads to support the chapter’s mission. The primary focus is to support the Marketing Content Team with overall marketing initiatives and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports and presentations related to campaign and marketing platform performance.
- Maintain vendor and in-kind partner relationships as a point of contact for print, video, or promotional production, ensuring brand consistency.
- Facilitate and follow up on submissions for national branding support including the quarterly story sharing partnership (SSP), celebrity public relations (PR) request tracking, and more.
- Provide input and support with content creation and production collateral.
- Manage an editorial planner to plan and execute content strategies.
- Coordinate video production projects with external vendors, managing timelines, deliverables, stakeholder feedback, and project logistics.
- Support the execution of text messaging program, coordinating timely outreach related to events, volunteer opportunities, donor engagement, and other text messages, as needed.
- Assist in preparing reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed.
- Organize and manage a content database and repository to ensure content is organized and easily accessible.
- Stay up to date on industry news and best practices to continually improve marketing content efforts.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as Development, Mission, Operations (Volunteer Program Team) and incorporate feedback to improve overall constituent experience.
- Apply search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to help optimize digital content.
- Support website updates and email marketing.
- Manage inventory of marketing collateral and equipment, ensuring that sufficient materials are readily available to support marketing activations and events.
- Engage with chapter constituents by conducting phone and/or video interviews to generate content for story creation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this role, applicants are required to submit at least 2 writing samples.
- Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred (bachelor’s degree beneficial).
- 2+ years of marketing, communications, or public relations experience.
- Strong proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management and organization skills.
- Experience in writing, editing, and non-profit marketing.
- Familiarity with desktop publishing and design software.
- Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish speaking and writing a plus.

Schedule
Hybrid Schedule – Wednesday and Thursday in-person at the corporate office (200 W. Monroe, Suite 1801, Chicago, IL 60606) and Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are remote. Business needs may dictate occasional adjustments to the hybrid schedule.
Pay
Annual Salary Range: $56,200 - $58,600
