Essential Responsibilities

  • Own management of Seamen’s Bank social media platforms, including content creation and scheduling to maximize audience engagement and reach.
  • Launch and develop email marketing campaigns to directly drive traffic to our Bank website and key revenue-generating departments.
  • Manage, update, and optimize the Bank’s website to ensure fresh, dynamic content.
  • Serve as the organization’s primary content creator and handles the daily execution of digital marketing, print publications, and communications.
  • Translate complex financial products and Bank services to average consumer and shape raw material from staff, meetings and other sources into meaningful, impactful messaging.
  • Write and collaborate on the creation of compelling and effective copy.
  • Maintain and enhance the Bank’s image through consistent messaging and visual branding.
  • Identify and capitalize on brand moments, like events, milestones, and other notable news.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze product and services marketing campaigns to maximize revenue and strengthen community partnerships.
  • Develop a multi-channel media list, on-going pitch content, and regular distribution schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to position Seamen’s Bank as an industry leader.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the metrics and effectiveness of marketing activities to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
  • Monitor trends and recommend new approaches to strengthen or pivot.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI.

Qualifications, Requirements, and/or Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing and communications, business administration or relevant field from a four-year college or university; or five or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years in a hands-on marketing, communications, or related role.
  • Exceptional creativity and outstanding writing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while staying organized and detail oriented.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and focused on solutions.
  • Experience working with vendors, printers, promotional partners, or outside agencies.
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing best practices.
  • Microsoft Office and digital software mastery.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job will include close vision.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
