Responsibilities
- Create high-quality print and digital marketing materials for all areas of the university.
- Design and develop creative assets such as advertisements, brochures, flyers, social media graphics, digital displays, presentations, publications, signage, web graphics, and other marketing collateral.
- Support enrollment marketing initiatives with digital advertising, social media campaigns, email marketing, landing pages, recruitment publications, and academic program promotions.
- Maintain and elevate the D’Youville brand through consistent creative work that aligns with brand standards and strategic communications goals.
- Assist with the design and visual presentation of content for the university website and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop creative solutions that support institutional priorities.
- Contribute to the organization and maintenance of the university’s digital asset management system.
- Stay informed of design trends, creative technologies, and best practices in higher education marketing.
- Assist with photography and videography projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Two to three years of professional graphic design experience, or an equivalent combination of professional work, internships, and relevant project experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence across a variety of print and digital design projects.
- Experience working within established brand standards and visual identity systems preferred.
- Experience in higher education, nonprofit, agency, or corporate marketing environments is a plus.
- Experience creating digital advertising, social media creative, enrollment marketing materials, and other campaign assets that drive audience engagement and conversion is preferred.
- Comprehensive computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and creative platforms.
