Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This position is based in T&H’s Savannah, Georgia office and will report directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will support T&H’s internal and external communications efforts through social media, content development, graphic design, advertising, promotional materials, event coordination, and other marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with an eye for design who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They should be comfortable learning new tools and processes, collaborating with team members across the company, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish. Responsibilities | What you'll do Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Manage and support content development and posting across T&H’s social media channels Write, edit, and proofread social media posts, website content, announcements, marketing materials, and other communications Develop graphics and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva Design advertisements for print and digital publications while maintaining T&H brand standards Coordinate advertising schedules, deadlines, placements, specifications, and associated materials Maintain advertising records and track active and upcoming advertisements Assist with the development and coordination of marketing campaigns and company communications Coordinate company promotional items and branded merchandise, including ordering, inventory, distribution, and vendor communication Assist with the coordination of office events and company activities across T&H’s offices Work with employees, vendors, venues, and other partners to support event planning and execution Work with outside vendors, printers, publications, and other marketing partners as needed Assist with photography, project imagery, and other visual content for marketing and communications purposes Support website, email marketing, and other digital content updates Maintain organized marketing files, assets, and resources Assist the Marketing team with day-to-day projects, initiatives, and special requests Collaborate with employees across T&H to gather information and develop accurate, engaging content Manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Qualifications | What you'll bring Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field One to five (1-5) years of relevant marketing or communications experience Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign Experience with or working knowledge of Canva Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms Strong design skills with an understanding of brand consistency and visual communication Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail Ability to learn new programs, platforms, and processes quickly Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and follow projects through completion Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Willingness to assist with events and marketing initiatives across multiple T&H office locations Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry is a plus but is not required.
