About the Role
The Marketing and Communications Specialist supports social media, website, and email communications that highlight UEN and UTN services and initiatives. This role collaborates with teams to engage audiences, support events, analyze campaign performance, and advance UETN's mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns across social media, email, and print channels.
- Create campaign assets using Canva or similar design software.
- Maintain and evaluate campaign performance using key metrics and make recommendations as needed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established timelines and project requirements.
- Coordinate the design, printing, mailing, and distribution of promotional materials.
- Write and edit marketing and communications content, including support for UEN and UTN monthly newsletters.
- Affiliate with planning, promotion, and event staffing that support UEN and UTN initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or Master's (or equivalency) degree.
- Requires basic skill set and proficiency.
- Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment.
- Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline.
- Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
Qualifications
- Equivalency of 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
- Experience with digital marketing, including campaign analytics and performance reporting.
- Working knowledge of Asana, Emma, and Hootsuite or similar project management and marketing platforms.
- Graphic design experience, particularly with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
