Marketing & Communication Specialist
About the role
In this role, you will help preserve and enhance the TBG brand by developing and executing marketing and communication strategies that support our clients, prospects, employees, and business partners. This position is responsible for creating and launching digital and print campaigns, maintaining marketing platforms, and developing compelling content across multiple channels. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent messaging, strong brand presence, and effective marketing initiatives that align with TBG's business objectives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
- 2–5 years of marketing or communications experience
- Intermediate knowledge of WordPress for web content development
- Working knowledge of InDesign to make edits and modifications
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or Google documents
Responsibilities
- Understand TBG's products, services, and value proposition in order to support the needs of the retail sales team
- Develop marketing strategies, objectives, and plans that include targeted multimedia marketing and communication programs
- Define strategy, scope of work (SOW), objectives, timelines, and required resources for each marketing initiative
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while prioritizing work based on business needs
- Assess and maintain TBG's website and social media platforms to ensure they remain current, accurate, and aligned with brand strategy
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for marketing and communication improvements
- Identify, interview, and manage freelance designers or creative resources when external support is needed
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, NDAs, timelines, and budgets associated with marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with vendors, media contacts, and internal administrators to coordinate video production, multimedia campaigns, and digital initiatives
- Provide direction and feedback to internal teams and external partners while collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders
- Make updates and improvements to the TBG website using WordPress and other web tools
- Edit and update marketing collateral, presentations, and advertisements using InDesign and other design tools
- Monitor digital platforms and assist in developing responses and messaging across social media and communication channels
- Create or modify promotional graphics, artwork, and layouts in Photoshop and InDesign when appropriate
- Plan and manage the content and layout for the company-wide quarterly newsletter, including requesting and editing contributions
- Evaluate and enhance client and visitor experiences within TBG headquarters by ensuring brand alignment throughout key spaces
- Capture professional photos or coordinate photographers/videographers for company events, product development, and production highlights
- Manage and maintain marketing assets including licenses and royalty waivers
- Identify case studies, client stories, and events that showcase TBG's capabilities for use in marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure TBG's brand is accurately represented in recruitment efforts
- Produce and analyze web analytics and campaign performance reports to improve engagement and results
- Support additional marketing and communication initiatives as requested by leadership
Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with 3 days in the office which is located in Chanhassen, MN.
Compensation
$50,000 – 60,000 annually. Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
