Overview

McGraw Hill, a leading provider of digital and print educational resources, seeks a Marketing Campaign Automation Manager to help execute scalable, high-quality customer communications across marketing automation platforms. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Operations and plays a key role in campaign execution, platform governance, process standardization, and customer engagement.

What you will be doing:

  • Build and implement Higher Education email campaigns by partnering with Marketing Operations Managers to execute campaigns from planning through deployment.
  • Develop and maintain campaign project management plans and stakeholder send calendars to coordinate priorities, timelines, and campaign delivery.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations Engineers to automate campaign build and send processes through platform APIs, improving efficiency and scalability.
  • Serve as the primary Higher Education platform administrator for marketing automation platforms, including Drift, ensuring platform functionality and operational support.
  • Serve as the marketing automation platforms expert by establishing, documenting, and socializing governance processes for platform selection and utilization.
  • Partner with data engineers to standardize campaign execution across marketing automation platforms and create consistent, scalable processes.
  • Document platform functionality and build solutions across marketing automation platforms to maintain key capabilities and support ongoing business needs.
  • Lead the evaluation of AI toolsets within marketing automation platforms, identifying practical use cases and adoption opportunities.
  • Develop and implement AI adoption strategies to streamline campaign implementation and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing Operations team to identify and resolve data and process gaps that enable AI-enhanced workflows and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum four years of experience in marketing automation, including building, testing, launching, and optimizing email campaigns.
  • Minimum two years of project management experience.
  • Experience with Marketo, Braze, Gainsight, and Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to travel 3-4 times per year.
  • Ability to work in a general office or remote environment.
