About the role
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our Global Marketing and Communications team at Marsh Risk in New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage integrated marketing and communications campaigns from concept through launch, measurement, and optimization.
- Develop, edit, and optimize high-impact content across channels, including social, email, blogs, presentations, and internal communications, to support commercial and brand goals.
- Maintain brand voice, messaging consistency, and compliance across materials and regions while coordinating with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery and localization.
- Manage project timelines, approvals, workflows, and performance reporting in a matrixed environment, while using martech and generative AI responsibly to improve speed, quality, and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably in professional services, financial services, insurance, or another complex B2B environment.
- Experience working in a large, global, or matrixed organization, with the ability to coordinate across regions and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and organizational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, work with limited supervision, and use AI and modern martech responsibly across the content lifecycle; portfolio or work samples required.
Qualifications
- Track record coordinating regional or global campaigns and adapting creative for local markets.
- Ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes from your work, such as engagement uplift, lead generation, or conversion improvements.
- Experience managing agency or vendor relationships, along with complex project budgets and timelines.
- Cultural fluency, executive presence, and a proactive, data-driven mindset with a clear point of view on emerging marketing trends and tools, including generative AI.

Pay
- The applicable base salary range for this role is $65,500 to $131,100.
- Base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
- Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule
- This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
- All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week.
- Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
