What You’ll Do

  • Transaction Research & Reporting: Capture and document corporate finance deal experience for marketing use and league table submissions.
  • Pitch & Presentation Curation: Create and maintain tailored pitch materials, client presentations, and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze and synthesize internal and external data to deliver business intelligence and research insights.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain client lists, track opportunities, and manage data within the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Support events, award submissions, rankings, and other high-impact marketing projects.

What You’ll Bring

  • Background: Bachelor’s degree required; 2+ years of professional experience in capital markets/debt finance, business development, financial services, or project management.
  • Analytical & Critical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex financial and legal concepts and translate them into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a polished, professional approach.
  • Project Management: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), and familiarity with tools such as CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Mergermarket, LSEG, Deal Point Data, and CRM platforms like Salesforce.
  • Collaboration & Initiative: Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to ask questions, propose improvements, and take ownership of work.
  • Judgment & Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and sound decision-making.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in Chicago is $70,000 - $83,000.
