Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on administration and support for marketing automation platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot and/or Pardot
- Develop the day-to-day architecture of marketing automation platforms including MA instance(s) to enable campaigns & programs to run effectively (attribution, sourcing, lead flow)
- Build & Execute lead lifecycle, lead scoring, nurture platforms, segmentation and data management initiatives
- Assist in troubleshooting platform, campaign, and integration issues while identifying root causes and recommended resolutions.
- Support client engagements by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and executing solutions aligned with business goals
- Aid in CRM and marketing automation platform integrations to ensure data flows accurately between systems.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support campaign performance analysis and business objectives.
- Identify and elevate products/solutions offered to meet current and future market needs by being familiar with technology stacks & major players in martech space (Adobe, Power BI/Tableau, etc…)
- Contribute to internal process documentation and team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Collaborative approach & effective communication: technical proficiency is a requirement but you must also be to process feedback, ask questions for additional detail, & explain technical elements to non-technical stakeholders
- Manage and grow junior team members to both increase their soft skill development and their marketing automation acumen.
- Support the creation of on-going training plans for internal teams including walkthroughs of client use cases, creation of frameworks, and how-to documentation. Helps Strategists identify the need for client training and/or new processes and corresponding reference materials.
- Support Strategists with strategy sessions and identifies other SMEs needed, supports the creation of discussion guides and assets for workshop meetings and helps recommend when/if these meetings are needed
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. degree in marketing or analytics, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of marketing automation experience desired
- Experience working within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or other CRM platforms preferred
- Technical mastery of 1:1 platforms, specifically in advanced &/or admin capability (advanced program setup, lead scoring, customer lifecycle, data management)
- Proven history of strategy development and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to think strategically with a strong ability to execute plans and exceed client expectations and project goals
- Experience as an operations strategist, and/or owner of process and data management
- Proven success in driving results-oriented marketing programs and strategies, and the ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Must be able to speak to and demonstrate knowledge in the digital marketing field
