Marketing Automation Lead Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the marketing automation platform (Pardot), ensuring campaigns and workflows run efficiently.
- Proactively research and implement best practices and strategies to improve program effectiveness/outcomes.
- Partner with internal teams to prioritize target audiences.
- Execute automation-enabled strategies to identify, nurture, and convert leads.
- Oversee email marketing campaign development and execution, including segmentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Design and manage customer journeys, maintaining and adjusting lead scoring rules.
- Create and manage forms, email templates, content, and personalization.
- Plan and execute campaign testing to improve conversion, ROI, and growth.
- Lead marketing operations within Pardot/Salesforce, including lead lifecycles, scoring, nurturing, segmentation, and data hygiene.
- Partner with Salesforce Admins to maintain and enhance Pardot-Salesforce Integration.
- Collaborate with Marketing Analysts to track performance and define targets, goals, KPIs, and campaign metrics.
- Provide regular performance reporting to marketing leadership.
- Serve as Pardot SME, providing training, support, and best practices across other teams.
Marketing Automation Lead Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
- Hands-on experience with Pardot, Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.
- Current Pardot certification preferred, or willingness to receive one within 12 months of hire.
- Experience executing email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and testing.
- Understanding of CRM operations: lead lifecycle management, scoring, nurturing strategies, and data governance.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations.
- Experience with custom reporting and dashboard creation within CRM or marketing tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email or landing page support preferred.
