About the role
We are looking for a Marketing and Office Coordinator to join a team in Houston, Texas in a Contract to permanent capacity. This onsite role supports day-to-day office coordination while contributing to internal communications, events, and marketing-related projects. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with creative and organizational work in an office environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily office activities and help maintain an organized, efficient workplace environment for employees and visitors.
- Support the planning and execution of company events, including logistics, scheduling, vendor coordination, and onsite assistance.
- Draft and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and other employee-facing communications with clear and effective messaging.
- Update intranet content and keep internal resources accurate, current, and easy to access.
- Assist with internal marketing initiatives by preparing materials, organizing information, and tracking progress on assigned tasks.
- Monitor small projects from kickoff through completion by maintaining timelines, documenting updates, and following up with stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Director of Operations, marketing and creative teams, vendors, and building management to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Provide general administrative support such as document preparation, presentation updates, and coordination of routine office needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, administrative support, marketing, communications, events, or a related area.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear internal messaging and effective correspondence.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable taking direction, working independently, and following through on tasks with minimal oversight.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with confidence using or learning intranet and project-management platforms.
- Interest in or early experience with marketing, event coordination, internal communications, or project support.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas, with in-office availability required Tuesday through Thursday.
