About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join the Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing Analytics, the ideal candidate will bring deep experience across marketing, eCommerce, and web analytics, along with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. This role will involve developing executive-level reporting, analyzing the customer journey and website experience, optimizing marketing investment and website conversion, and partnering cross-functionally to drive business performance.
Responsibilities
- Executive Reporting & Insights: Own the development and delivery of executive-level performance dashboards and reporting frameworks, providing meaningful context and business implications alongside the data. Proactively identify trends, diagnose root causes, and develop strategic recommendations and action plans with minimal guidance.
- Cross-Functional Optimization: Lead and influence collaboration with UX, development, and eCommerce teams to define, prioritize, and implement enhancements that improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall site performance.
- Experimentation: Design, run, and evaluate complex A/B and multivariate testing initiatives end-to-end, including hypothesis development, statistical validation, and translating outcomes into long-term strategy. Establish testing governance and own the experimentation roadmap.
- Customer & Marketing Analytics: Conduct advanced analyses of customer behavior, segmentation, and purchasing patterns to generate actionable insights that directly influence marketing strategy, promotional planning, and eCommerce growth initiatives.
- Performance Improvement: Champion continuous optimization by identifying systemic performance gaps, recommending innovative solutions, setting KPIs, and ensuring accountability for execution across teams.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Exercise independent judgment to assess competing priorities, allocate resources effectively, and make sound strategic decisions aligned with business objectives.
- Executive Communication: Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders through clear, data-driven storytelling and own follow-through on resulting actions.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals, identify and resolve problems, and demonstrate established company values.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in an analytical role, preferably within marketing, eCommerce, or web analytics.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing and running queries; large-scale data analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and VBA.
- Extensive experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Expertise in attribution modeling.
- Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience developing dashboards, complex data models, and predictive analytics.
- A/B testing experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Other: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively across email, chat, and phone, and work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, early mornings, and late evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in luxury or high-end consumer products is a plus.
- Familiarity with experimentation and analytics platforms such as Google Optimize, Fullstory, Adobe Analytics, or Bloomreach is preferred.
