Marketing Adjunct-MRKTG

Position Overview

The Department of Marketing at UCO invites applications for adjunct positions to teach various marketing courses. This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open throughout the current academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of adjuncts.

Adjunct Faculty provide a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. They report to a dean or chair and perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in alignment with the college’s mission, policies, and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

• Possesses at least a master's degree in marketing or an MBA with a marketing concentration.
• Has 5 years of senior executive marketing or sales experience.
• Must have either current professional experience or current academic research in marketing or sales to be considered.
• Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in marketing, previous teaching experience, and online teaching experience.

Experience Required

• A master's degree in marketing or MBA with a marketing concentration.
• 5 years of senior executive marketing or sales experience.

Experience Preferred

• Previous teaching experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• No supervision of other employees.
