Market Sales Director - Minnesota
About the role
We are seeking a Market Sales Director with extensive experience in market leadership and strategic oversight. You will lead a team of Market Sales Managers, driving market share growth and sales team effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team, drive market growth, and ensure the success of franchise activities within assigned territories.
- Manage the full life cycle of onboarding, retaining, and growing our franchise customers.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide coaching and feedback to the team.
- Analyze market conditions and collaborate with leadership to develop regional strategies for growth.
- Work with internal teams on go-to-market strategies, sales, and promotions.
- Hire, onboard, and develop a team of driven salespeople equipped to meet market goals.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of sales leadership experience with outside sales teams.
- College degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Automotive industry experience, preferably selling SaaS platforms into dealerships.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time within the designated market.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify market trends, changes and implications, develop objectives, and strategies.
- Strong follow-through and determination to close deals.
- Proven ability to lead teams, grow markets and drive to meet/exceed sales targets.
- Clear communication and contagious motivational leadership style.
Qualifications
Must have 5-7+ years of sales leadership experience with outside sales teams, a college degree or equivalent professional experience, and automotive industry experience, preferably selling SaaS platforms into dealerships. Must also have the ability to travel 75% of the time within the designated market, proven ability to analyze data, identify market trends, changes and implications, develop objectives, and strategies, strong follow-through and determination to close deals, proven ability to lead teams, grow markets and drive to meet/exceed sales targets, and a clear communication and contagious motivational leadership style.
