About the role

The Market Readiness Coordinator (MRC) ensures account sets in customer stores comply with Buffalo Rock Merchandising Standards. This role supports strategic execution objectives, maintains customer relationships, and implements marketing programs while adhering to company policies and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate all transshipping activity in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures.
  • Take ownership of Buffalo Rock Purpose and Core Values to ensure the group's success.
  • Communicate new account opportunities and changes to existing accounts (e.g., ownership, closure) to the ADC/RSM/ROM.
  • Complete all required paperwork per Company Policy and timeline.
  • Implement and maintain marketing programs with assigned accounts; report and remedy non-compliance to BRC standards.
  • Support the attainment of Strategic Execution Objectives.
  • Maintain required BRC standards and goals per account.
  • Execute and achieve all account program key objectives.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional customer relationships.
  • Cover open positions due to vacations, personal days, turnover, or route changes as needed.
  • Assist with running Hot Shots, building displays, and making bulk deliveries.
  • Direct and assist with resets and new store openings.
  • Coordinate equipment needs, placements, and point-of-purchase needs with the General Sales Manager.
  • Participate in the franchise’s “Strategic Planning” process.
  • Include all current and future products in resets, following BRC standards.
  • Seek authorization and full distribution for all current and future products distributed by Buffalo Rock.
  • Adhere to customer policies for vendors or suppliers, including business conduct, ethics, legal, delivery, and merchandising policies.
  • Ensure assigned employee-partners report to work daily and on time.
  • Work special events associated with Buffalo Rock or the franchise.
  • Exhibit high ethical and moral conduct while representing Buffalo Rock.
  • Complete assigned training curriculum, including online and facilitated training.
  • Take reasonable precautions to protect the Company from damages, theft, or liabilities and ensure safety of employee-partners, customers, and property.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; required.
  • At least 3+ years of Sales and Management Experience (or management approval); required.
  • Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record; required.
  • D.O.T Certified (where applicable).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ShareFile, OneNote, OneDrive).
  • Regular and timely attendance; flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
  • Ability to travel for company events, training, and meetings.
  • Must work in varying temperatures (extreme heat/cold), rain, or snow for extended periods.

Pay

The MRC position is compensated based on a combination of a day rate and commission. The full day rate is paid for any day worked, regardless of hours. Commission is based on a percentage of the Franchise retail revenue for the workweek. The day rate plus commission compensates for all straight-time hours worked. Overtime is paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate for hours over 40 in a workweek. The regular hourly rate is calculated by dividing total weekly compensation (day rate + commission) by total hours worked. Compensation structure may change with written notice.
