Market Logistics Coordinator
Job Description Summary
The Market Logistics Coordinator supports the Market Logistics Operations and the local operations team by handling administrative, communication, and scheduling duties.
Position Responsibilities
- Captures and updates contracts to support efficient dispatch operations
- Reviews and schedules driver logs based on Dispatcher direction
- Communicates with branches and the Market Logistics Operation Center
- Maintains vehicle inspection program and coordinates repairs
- Ensures correct order instructions and assists with driver scheduling
- Schedules third-party haulers as directed by the Dispatcher
- Monitors driver stop times and communicates to expedite when necessary
- Identifies gaps in fleet availability and assists in prioritizing pickups
- Orders and receives parts for ongoing repairs and restocks supplies
- Performs semi-annual parts usage reviews and adjusts stockage
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1-2 years of equipment rental experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
- Personal and professional integrity
- Flexible approach to problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of dispatch administration and DOT regulations preferred
Base Pay Range
Base Pay Range: $24.05 - 33.06
Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
