Essential Job Functions

• Drives sustainable local fundraising revenue growth, innovation, and development aligned with current and future trends within the healthcare and fundraising industries
• Identifies and initiates new strategies, prioritization of fundraising operations, best practices and tracking/dash boarding to meet expectation of local leadership, group expectations, and BSMH Foundation short and long range targets
• Executes on KPIs associated with short and long term strategic goals
• Serves as Foundation resource to market president and executive leaders providing business analytics, data, and predictive modeling to support their leadership work
• Prepares and presents market foundation performance and strategies to market president, executive leadership team, and the market foundation board to ensure they align with market projects and objectives
• Serves as a resource to the market foundation board and committees, engaging them in the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gifts
• Supervises major gift officers, sets and monitors solicitation targets, and oversees local major gift prospect identification, assignments, cultivation, and solicitation
• Manages a personal portfolio of lead gift prospects
• Evaluate foundation performance toward meeting objectives and targets and implement changes for continual improvement
• Ensures that fund disbursements align with market opportunities and BSMH Foundation disbursement goals
• Lead and supervise the assigned local foundation staff, including but not limited to major gifts officers, administrative, and appropriate grant staff

REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with progressive responsibility in leading teams, proven fundraising success, and advanced communication skills within a complex organization
• Working with Executives in a complex organization; collaborative with strong interpersonal skills; ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives and implement effectively

• Master’s Degree
